I am a trained psychologist, counsellor and psychotherapist, and adopt a psychoanalytic/existential approach. My practice is open to people of all ages and all walks of life. I work in English and Italian and offer short and long term psychotherapy, depending on the individual need.
I have studied in London, Berlin and Rome and currently work as a lecturer at the School of Psychotherapy and Counselling Psychology, Regent’s College, London.
Besides my private practice and teaching, I have worked for the NHS, MIND and GP Practices. My experience includes working with depression, addiction, eating disorders, self-harm, trauma, bereavement, stress, anxiety, sexuality, and self-development.
I believe therapy can make a significant and lasting difference to our lives. Psychotherapy is a joint undertaking, and it is especially important to work with someone who is understanding and non-judgemental, and who you can trust to work with you. My aim is to promote positive change and help you get in touch with your feelings and emotions and make better sense of your past and present.
I work in private practice in Burma Road and in East London near to Victoria Park.
“Conflicts may be the sources of defeat, lost life and a limitation of our potentiality but they may also lead to greater depth of living and the birth of more far-reaching unities, which flourish in the tension that engender them” (Karl Jaspers)
