I am a UKCP registered psychotherapist and have been working at the Burma Road Practice for over 10 years. I have also worked previously in charity and NHS clinics specializing in addictive and dependent behaviours but now work solely at Burma Road.
I trained as an Integrative Psychotherapist, a therapeutic approach which encourages you to increase your self understanding, to develop an awareness of a wider range of options, and to increase your ability to effect desired changes in their life.
At the Burma Road Practice I have worked with people with a wide variety of personal presenting concerns and as I mentioned, I have specialist experience of working with dependent and problematic behaviours. These include substance and alcohol abuse and also problem gambling, a subject on which I occasionally train and lecture.
I can usually offer you either a daytime or evening appointment and will provide a dedicated time and space for us to work. I will do my best to listen to your concerns and help you to come to a better understanding of yourself and to think about how you would like to be and what you like to do moving forward.
